            Softball Recap: Ramona Convent Tigers vs. Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary Cardinals        
        
		
        
        
            Ramona Convent waltzed into their contest  on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single  run of losing the streak, but they secured  a   6-5 W against the Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary Cardinals. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won  12-9  back in March.

  Aiden Velazquez was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with five  RBI, two  runs,  and one  double. Those  five  RBI gave  her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was  Citlali Garcia, who  scored a  run while  getting on base  in three of her four plate appearances.
Ramona Convent's record is now 13-5. As for Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary, they now  have a losing record of 6-7.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ramona Convent will host St. Monica  at 3:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Tigers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mariners have averaged an impressive 11.3  runs per game this season. As for Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary, they will be playing at home against Mary Star of the Sea  at 3:15  p.m.  on Thursday. The Cardinals are facing the Stars at the right time seeing as the Stars are stuck on  a  four-game losing streak.
