Soccer Game Preview: White Knoll vs. Chapin

The White Knoll Timberwolves will face off against the Chapin Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. White Knoll's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for White Knoll's offense. They came up short against Lexington on Tuesday, falling 13-0. While losing is never fun, White Knoll can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 98th, while Lexington are ranked 15th).

Meanwhile, Chapin kept a clean sheet against A.C. Flora on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Falcons 1-0. Jenn Kujawa had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Chapin.

Chapin's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those four contests. As for White Knoll, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

White Knoll suffered a grim 5-2 defeat to Chapin in their previous matchup back in April of 2024. Can White Knoll avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
