Basketball Recap: Tigard Snags Fourth Win in Last Five Games

Tigard won the last time they faced Glencoe and things went their way on Saturday too. The Tigard Tigers walked away with a 71-59 victory over the Glencoe Crimson Tide.

When it comes to explaining why Glencoe lost, don't look at Dillon Moody. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 16 points and nine boards. Moody continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of King Mills, who went 7 of 10 on his way to 11 points and five rebounds.

Tigard has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for Glencoe, their defeat was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-5.

Tigard didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-56 win against Sunset on the 27th. As for Glencoe, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 54-52 victory against Aloha on the 28th.
