Soccer Game Preview: Minisink Valley vs. Washingtonville + How To Watch

Minisink Valley is 0-6 against Washingtonville since September of 2018 but things could change on Thursday. The Warriors will look to defend their home pitch against the Wizards at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Minisink Valley lost 6-1 to Warwick on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, Minisink Valley can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 422nd, while Warwick are ranked 60th).

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Washingtonville and Cornwall Central have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Wizards came up short against the Dragons, falling 5-0.

Minisink Valley's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Washingtonville, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9.
