Basketball Game Preview: Irondequoit Eagles vs. Greece Athena Trojans

The Irondequoit Eagles will wrap up 2024 with a road trip to face off against the Greece Athena Trojans at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Friday, Irondequoit earned a 62-51 win over Spencerport.

Meanwhile, Greece Athena put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. The stars were shining brightly for them in an 80-63 victory over Brockport. The Trojans' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Greece Athena pushed their record up to 4-0 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.9 points per game. As for Irondequoit, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
