Franklin's game two weeks ago was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 20-6 win over the Mendez Jaguars. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Jaguars recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Franklin's win bumped their record up to 8-6-2. As for Mendez, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Franklin will challenge rival Wilson at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Panthers 8.2, the Mules 3.4) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Mendez is set to face off against their familiar foe Roybal at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
