Soccer Recap: Woodland Christian Finishes Even with Rio Vista

Woodland Christian can bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Wednesday. Neither they nor the Rio Vista Rams could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Cardinals have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2024.

With that draw, Woodland Christian's record moves to 6-9-2. Meanwhile, Rio Vista's record is now 3-8-3.

Woodland Christian will face off against Mesa Verde at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mesa Verde is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.6 goals per game this season. As for Rio Vista, they will challenge Vacaville Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
