Basketball Recap: Houlka Takes a Loss

Houlka was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They had to suffer through a 49-22 loss at the hands of the Bruce Trojans. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 59-16 back in November of 2024.

Houlka's defeat dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Bruce, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Houlka Wildcats take on the Pine Grove Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Bruce, they will welcome Palmer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Bruce is facing Palmer at the right time seeing as Palmer is stuck on a 15-game losing streak.
