Softball Recap: Dysart Demons vs. Goldwater Bulldogs
Dysart was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They suffered a rough 22-6 loss at the hands of the Goldwater Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Dysart of the 13-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.
For Goldwater's part, Micaela De La Torre was a major factor while hitting and pitching. Dysart will play host again on Tuesday to welcome Cortez, where first pitch is scheduled at 3:45 p.m. As for Goldwater, they will head out on the road to challenge Estrella Foothills at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams will come into the contest having just posted big wins, so someone is set to suffer a big change in fortunes.
