Volleyball Recap: Arvin Triumphs

Arvin lost to Liberty on Friday, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Bears walked away with a 2-0 win over the Hawks. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bears.

Danitza Moreno paced Arvin's offense, picking up six kills. Moreno got some help from Leah Salcedo and her five assists. Carolina Navarro controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Arvin's victory bumped their record up to 11-6-2. As for Liberty, they moved to 14-5-1 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Arvin will face off against East Bakersfield at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Liberty, they will take on Madera at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
