The man between the sidelines primarily responsible for the colossal victory? Westlake quarterback Sam Ehlinger.

It was his finest moment in a season filled with stellar play. Ehlinger threw for 3,833 yards, rushed for 1,419 yards, and found the end zone a whopping 71 times. He was the Class 6A State Player of the Year, and now Ehlinger is the MaxPreps National Junior of the Year.
