Baseball Recap: Lexington Christian Has No Trouble Against Corbin

Lexington Christian got themselves on the board against Corbin on Wednesday, but Corbin never followed suit. They blew past the Redhounds 12-0. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Redhounds, too.

The victory made it two in a row for Lexington Christian and bumps their season record up to 18-11. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Corbin, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 20-16 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lexington Christian will host George Rogers Clark at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Corbin, they will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Southwestern at 6:00 p.m. The Redhounds are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
