Basketball Game Preview: Inter-City Baptist Chargers vs. Taylor Griffins

The Inter-City Baptist Chargers just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Taylor Griffins at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Inter-City Baptist will be looking to extend their current 11-game winning streak.

On Friday, Inter-City Baptist was able to grind out a solid win over Southfield Christian, taking the game 56-43.

Meanwhile, Taylor came up short against Lincoln Park on Thursday and fell 62-51. The defeat continues a trend for the Griffins in their matchups with the Railsplitters: they've now lost nine in a row.

Inter-City Baptist's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-1. As for Taylor, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.

Inter-City Baptist beat Taylor 47-36 in their previous meeting back in January of 2024. The rematch might be a little tougher for Inter-City Baptist since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
