Preview: Ridgewood Generals vs. Coshocton Redskins
The Ridgewood Generals will be playing at home against the Coshocton Redskins at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Ridgewood's favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while Coshocton has been banged up by 15 consecutive losses on the road.
Ridgewood suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Saturday. Their rough 64-42 defeat to Tuscarawas Valley might stick with them for a while. While losing is never fun, Ridgewood can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 220th, while Tuscarawas Valley is ranked 85th).
Meanwhile, Coshocton had to suffer through a rough 60-22 loss at the hands of Maysville.
Ridgewood's defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-3. As for Coshocton, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-14.
Ridgewood didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Coshocton in their previous meeting back in January of 2023, but they still walked away with a 42-37 victory. Does Ridgewood have another victory up their sleeve, or will Coshocton turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
