Basketball Recap: East Jackson Takes a Loss

East Jackson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the West Hall Spartans, falling 53-33. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Spartans earlier this season, when they won 50-38.

East Jackson's defeat dropped their record down to 6-11. As for West Hall, they moved to 4-15 with that victory, which also ended their 15-game losing streak.

East Jackson and West Hall could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. East Jackson will square off against Hart County at 1:30 p.m. on Monday down 292 places (444 vs. 152). Meanwhile, West Hall (ranked 476th) will meet Jefferson (ranked 36th) at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
