Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Wareham

Wareham proved they can win big on Friday (they won by three) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Upper Cape Cod RVT Rams 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Vikings have posted since October 15, 2024.

Wareham had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 19-25, 24-26, 25-10, 25-17, 15-9.

Despite the loss, Upper Cape Cod RVT still got an impressive performance from Nadia Prunier, who had eight digs and three aces.

The victory (which was Wareham's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0. As for Upper Cape Cod RVT, their defeat was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Wareham will square off against Mashpee at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Upper Cape Cod RVT, they will take on Sturgis West at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
