Basketball Recap: D.C. Everest Starts Season with Loss at Home

D.C. Everest unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They took a 38-30 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Appleton West Terrors on Friday. The Evergreens were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Terrors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Looking ahead, D.C. Everest will square off against Crandon at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Appleton West, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Fond du Lac at 7:15 p.m. on December 2.
