Volleyball Game Preview: Sierra Timberwolves vs. Patterson Tigers + How To Watch

The Sierra Timberwolves will venture away from home to take on the Patterson Tigers at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Sierra will be strutting in after a victory while Patterson will be coming in after a loss.

Manteca came into Thursday's match looking for another win against Sierra, but Amari Currey wouldn't allow it. The Timberwolves came out on top against the Buffaloes by a score of 3-1 on Thursday thanks in part to Currey, who had 12 digs and five aces. She has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last eight times she's played.

The win didn't come easy: Manteca scored at least 22 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-22, 23-25, 25-22.

Meanwhile, Patterson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 26th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to Oakdale.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-15, 25-8.

Sierra is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-11 record this season. As for Patterson, their loss dropped their record down to 0-13.

Sierra took their victory against Patterson in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Timberwolves since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
