Softball Recap: Weiss Wolves vs. Georgetown Eagles
Weiss took a nine-run loss the last time they faced off against Georgetown, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Wolves skirted past the Eagles 7-6. That's two games straight that the Wolves have won by just one run.
Anabella Gomez was excellent, scoring two runs while going 1-for-2. That's the most runs she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Alexis Herrera, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
