Soccer Recap: Lee Park Prep Takes a Loss

After flying high against Hickory Grove Christian on Tuesday, Lee Park Prep came back down to earth. The Knights came up short against the Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors on Thursday, falling 9-2. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Lee Park Prep were already down 6-0.

Asher Nigro and Aiden Arant scored both of Lee Park Prep's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Lee Park Prep's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Metrolina Christian Academy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-1-1.

Looking ahead, Lee Park Prep will face off against SouthLake Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Metrolina Christian Academy, they will square off against Ravenscroft at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
