Volleyball Game Preview: Valley Vikings vs. Sterling Tigers

The Valley Vikings will head out on the road to challenge the Sterling Tigers at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Thursday, Valley earned a 3-1 victory over Strasburg.

Valley walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the fourth set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-16, 20-25, 25-8.

Meanwhile, Sterling came tearing into Thursday's matchup with five straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Firebirds 3-0.

Sterling was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-20, 25-11.

Valley's record is now 7-11. As for Sterling, their record now sits at 16-6.

Valley might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Sterling in their previous matchup back in October of 2024. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
