Clifton-Clyde had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Republic County Buffaloes. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 last Saturday.

Calyn Baker paced Clifton-Clyde's offense, picking up seven kills. Baker got some help from Sevy Wurtz and her 11 assists. Wurtz also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Sydney Huncovsky, each putting up four.

Clifton-Clyde's win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Republic County, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-14.

Clifton-Clyde didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Bennington on the 27th. As for Republic County, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Blue Valley on the 27th.
