Dwight-Englewood piles up the points against New Milford

The Dwight-Englewood Bulldogs scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They breezed by New Milford at home to the tune of 67-40. The result was nothing new for Dwight-Englewood, who have now won four matches by 23 points or more so far this season.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Dariel Liranzo, who scored 14 points. Luis Placido was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.

Dwight-Englewood's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for New Milford, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-2.
