After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Beatty finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They came up short against the Indian Springs Thunderbirds, falling 14-2. The Hornets' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Anthoni Aguilar was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games he's played.

Beatty's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Indian Springs, they pushed their record up to 5-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

While Beatty had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
