Sherman Oaks CES came tearing into Monday's contest with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24 points), and they left with even more momentum. They claimed a resounding 40-0 victory over the East Valley Falcons. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 36-0 on Wednesday.

Sherman Oaks CES' win bumped their record up to 10-8. As for East Valley, their defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sherman Oaks CES is set to challenge their familiar foe Sun Valley Magnet at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Knights 12.5, the Pioneers 5.3) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, East Valley will take on rival Alliance Marine-Innovation & Technology at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
