Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Colonial Forge walked away with it. They came out on top against the Woodbridge Vikings by a score of 44-35 on Friday. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won three in a row.

Despite the loss, Woodbridge had strong showings from Ayanna Porter, who posted six points and seven rebounds, and Ayslenn Paulino, who went 6-for-10 en route to 12 points and seven boards. Those 12 points gave Paulino a new career-high.

Colonial Forge's win bumped their record up to 16-7. As for Woodbridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-13.

Looking ahead, Colonial Forge will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Gainesville at 5:30 p.m. Woodbridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
