Volleyball Recap: Mercer County Takes a Loss

Mercer County entered their contest against Sayre on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Titans took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Spartans. The Titans were not able to make up for their loss to the Spartans from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Mercer County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Sayre, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mercer County will host Washington County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Sayre, they will face off against Bishop Brossart at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
