Preview: Magnolia Heights vs. Lamar
Magnolia Heights is 0-8 against Lamar in play since January of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Magnolia Heights will head out on the road to square off against Lamar at 5:30 p.m. Magnolia Heights' last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
Magnolia Heights faced off against Bayou Academy for the first time this season, and Magnolia Heights walked away the winners. They didn't even let Bayou Academy onto the board and left with a 1-0 win back in December of 2023.
Meanwhile, Lamar came up short against East Rankin Academy on Monday and fell 3-1. That's two games in a row now that Lamar has lost by exactly two goals.

Magnolia Heights now has a winning record of 4-3-1. As for Lamar, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.
Magnolia Heights suffered a grim 6-1 defeat to Lamar in their previous meeting back in February of 2023. Can Magnolia Heights avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
