Basketball Game Preview: Nipomo Titans vs. Reedley Pirates

Having just played yesterday, the Nipomo Titans will jump right back in to play the Reedley Pirates at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Nipomo has struggled recently with five losses in a row, while Reedley will arrive with three straight wins.

Nipomo's tournament run continued when they took on Golden Valley on Friday. The Titans lost 56-34 to the Bulldogs.

While Reedley didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They enjoyed a cozy 70-52 victory over Morro Bay on Friday.

Reedley's win bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Nipomo, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-7.
