The East Carteret Mariners put the hurt on the Southside Seahawks with a sharp 14-6 win. With that victory, East Carteret brought their scoring average up to 6.5 runs per game.

Amilya Lewis made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up four earned (and two unearned) runs off ten hits. East Carteret will take on Croatan at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. East Carteret is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 6.5 runs per game this season. As for Southside, they will head out on the road to take on East Carteret at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
