Football Recap: Lincoln Lynx vs. West Seattle
Lincoln lost against West Seattle back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Lynx were beaten by West Seattle 44-7. The Lynx were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 24-0.
A big part of West Seattle's win came down to the chemistry between Desmond Parkinson and his top target LJ Moody. Parkinson threw for 370 yards and three TDs while picking up 13.7 yards per attempt while Moody picked up 119 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Those 370 passing yards gave Parkinson a new career-high. West Seattle also got help from Jesse Hansen-Wilson, who showed off his sure hands for 83 receiving yards.
Lincoln's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3. As for West Seattle, the victory (which was their fourth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.
