Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Longmont). They blew past the Monarch Coyotes 78-54 on Tuesday. The Trojans pushed the score to 61-40 by the end of the third, a deficit the Coyotes had little chance of recovering from.

Longmont's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Joey Foot led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 18 points and nine boards. Foot has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Jacob Foot was another key player, going 6 of 10 on his way to 17 points.

Longmont was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Monarch only racked up 11 assists.

Monarch's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Logan Laverty, who posted ten points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Justin Myers, who put up 11 points along with three steals and three blocks.

Longmont pushed their record up to 12-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 69.0 points per game. As for Monarch, with the loss, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-8.

Longmont will welcome Holy Family at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Monarch, they will head out to face off against Legacy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Monarch is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.9 points per game this season.
