Timnath is on a five-game streak of home losses, Greeley Central a six-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change on Thursday. The Timnath Cubs will welcome the Greeley Central Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. After both made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Thursday.

Timnath headed into their last game having not scored more than two runs for three straight, but Mountain View let them put that streak behind them. Timnath put the hurt on Mountain View with a sharp 14-5 victory on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Cubs as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Lily Miller spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and three unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up seven Ks. That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in August.

Timnath's victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 5-10. As for Greeley Central, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-9.
