The Philip Barbour Colts will face off against the Petersburg Vikings at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Philip Barbour will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each contest than the last.

Philip Barbour is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past South Harrison 49-22 on Friday. The Colts might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by 23 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Philip Barbour to victory, but perhaps none more so than Cameron Bennett, who rushed for 55 yards and one TD on only six carries, and also picked up 50 receiving yards and one score. That receiving touchdown was Bennett's first of the season. Robbie Jones was another key passer, throwing for 186 yards and three touchdowns on only ten passes.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Philip Barbour was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 209 rushing yards. They are a perfect 3-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, who contributed 25 in total. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Bennett, who ran a kickoff back for a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Petersburg ended up a good deal behind Doddridge County on Friday and lost 21-7. The game marked the Vikings' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Philip Barbour pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.5 points on average this season. As for Petersburg, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.
