Basketball Recap: Big Walnut Extends Winning Streak to Three

With a playoff win on the line, Big Walnut rose to the challenge on Wednesday. They walked away with a 65-55 victory over the Licking Heights Hornets. For the Golden Eagles, this counts as revenge for the 43-40 win the Hornets walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.

The victory (which was Big Walnut's third in a row) raised their record to 16-9. As for Licking Heights, with the defeat, they broke their 11-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-5.
