Schaumburg entered their tilt with Bartlett on Monday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Hawks by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Saxons, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Schaumburg easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-8.

Schaumburg's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-8. As for Bartlett, their loss dropped their record down to 2-13.

Schaumburg and Bartlett could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings. The Saxons (ranked 73rd) will meet Conant (ranked 17th) at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Bartlett will face off against South Elgin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank disadvantage (212 vs. 37).
