Basketball Recap: Edgemont Takes a Loss

Edgemont lost against Hyannis back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Edgemont Moguls had to suffer through a 64-35 loss at the hands of the Hyannis Longhorns. The Moguls' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Loss or not, Edgemont got some senior leadership from Sebastian Morse and Keaton Darrow. Morse went 6 of 14 en route to 12 points in addition to six boards and six steals, while Darrow posted 12 points along with seven assists and five rebounds. That was a full 34.3% of Edgemont's points, marking the fourth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Edgemont's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Hyannis, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Edgemont has already played their next match, a 48-46 victory against Sioux County on the 25th. Hyannis has also already played their next game (against Crawford), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
