South Columbus has gone 9-1 against East Bladen recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Stallions will be playing in front of their home fans against the Eagles at 5:00 p.m. South Columbus hasn't scored more than two runs for three games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

South Columbus' last matchup with Heide Trask could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's contest on Thursday. The Stallions lost 10-0 to the Titans.

Meanwhile, East Bladen entered their tilt with Whiteville on Monday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They had just enough and edged out the Wolfpack 5-3.

Jenna Brice spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on ten hits. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Tatum Allen, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Gracie Clark, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

East Bladen pushed their record up to 7-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 3.5 runs across that stretch. As for South Columbus, their loss dropped their record down to 5-8.
