Basketball Recap: Northwest Whitfield Find Success

The Northwest Whitfield Bruins didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against the Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe Warriors on Thursday, but they still walked away with a 59-53 win.

Lindsey Harris was the offensive standout of the game as she posted 14 points and six steals. Another player making a difference was Miah Triana, who had eight points in addition to five rebounds and four steals.

The victory got Northwest Whitfield back to even at 1-1.

Northwest Whitfield didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 50-38 win against Dade County on the 22nd. As for Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 53-33 loss against Model on the 22nd.
