Volleyball Recap: Eastern Warriors vs. Western Brown Broncos
Eastern lost against Western Brown back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Warriors fell 2-0 to the Broncos. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Bently Burns paced Eastern's offense, picking up six kills. Burns got some help from Josey Davis and her ten assists. Breeanna Jimison controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.
Eastern's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Western Brown, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.
Coincidentally, Eastern and Western Brown will both be playing Clermont Northeastern the next time they take the court. The Broncos will host the Rockets at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Warriors will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
