Volleyball Recap: Sun Valley Comes Up Short

Sun Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Unionville Longhorns. If the Vanguards were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Longhorns when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-12, 25-18.

Sun Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Unionville, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-0-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Sun Valley will face off against Ridley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Unionville, they will challenge Council Rock South at 3:30 p.m. on Friday.
