Softball Game Preview: Avalon Lancers vs. Santa Ana Valley Falcons

The Avalon Lancers will take on the Santa Ana Valley Falcons at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Avalon lost 17-3 to Rubidoux on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Santa Ana Valley came up short against Santa Ana on Tuesday, falling 16-10.

Karla Oliva made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole Two bases. while going 4-for-4. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games she's played. Santa Ana Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Avalon, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.
