Softball Recap: Laurel Comes Up Short

Laurel was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 25-0 to the Wayne County War Eagles. The Golden Tornadoes were not able to make up for their defeat to the War Eagles from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Laurel's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Wayne County, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-11-1 record.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Wayne County beat Laurel by a score of 20-0 later that day.
