Basketball Recap: Jordyn Russell's Big Game Can't Quite Lead the Christian School at Castle Hills over Valor South Austin

The Christian School at Castle Hills was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a hard 56-39 fall against the Valor South Austin Falcons.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jordyn Russell, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and 20 boards. That was a full 41% of The Christian School at Castle Hills' points, marking the fifth time in a row Russell has posted more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Savannah Bell, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten rebounds.

The Christian School at Castle Hills now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Valor South Austin, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

The Christian School at Castle Hills didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 53-25 victory against IDEA Monterrey Park College Prep on the 25th. As for Valor South Austin, they have also already played their next game, a 45-40 loss against Faith Academy on the 25th.
