Soccer Game Preview: Lake Travis vs. Los Fresnos

Lake Travis is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. While the 2-2 score might suggest a draw, it was Lake Travis who was credited with the victory. Lake Travis got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Johnson's three. The result kept Lake Travis happy, as they haven't lost a game since February 7th.

Andrew Roldan was the driving force of Lake Travis' attack as he scored both of Lake Travis' goals, bringing his season total up to 22 goals.

Lake Travis will be up against a hot Los Fresnos team: the squad just extended their winning streak to 11. Los Fresnos came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against Johnson. Given Los Fresnos' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 25th, while Johnson are ranked 273rd), the result on Tuesday wasn't entirely unexpected.
