Basketball Recap: Galesburg Comes Up Short

Galesburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 62-40 to the East Moline United Panthers. The Silver Streaks were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-22.

Galesburg's loss dropped their record down to 8-18. As for East Moline United, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-6.

When Galesburg and East Moline United next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Galesburg will try to stop Peoria's three-game winning streak when the meet at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, East Moline United will square off against Pekin and their three-game winning streak at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
