League recap: St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute's Matre delivers best pitching performance from past week

St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute's Matthew Matre was the best pitcher in the league this week. Over the past week, he had zero wins and 10 Ks.

St. Francis (12-7, 9-3) has won six games in a row, the league's longest active win streak. Five of those wins came in the past week, including a 1-0 victory over St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute.

The Marauders boasted the best pitching over the past week, holding opponents to the league's fewest hits and issuing the fewest walks. On the season, St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute has allowed just 124 hits, while striking out 153 batters.
