Volleyball Recap: Davis Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Davis won the last time they faced Layton and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Darts were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lancers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Darts.

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-19, 25-12.

Luke McKnight paced Davis' offense, picking up 12 kills. McKnight got some help from Siona Faeamani and his 13 assists. Faeamani also made an impact serving: he shared the team lead in aces with Jack Bennett, racking up two apiece.

Davis pushed their record up to 7-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Layton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-8.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Davis will take on rival Weber at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Layton is set to challenge their familiar foe Farmington at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
