Football Recap: Burke Takes a Loss

Burke was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 22-12 to the Denmark-Olar Vikings. The Bulldogs lost against the Vikings in their previous head to head back in September of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 38-2 score last time.

Burke's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Denmark-Olar, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Coming up, Burke will venture away from home to square off against Hemingway at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Denmark-Olar, they will welcome Hunter-Kinard-Tyler at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
