Two dominant signal callers in Jackson Presley and Van Shockley are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Glacier Wolfpack will face off against the Bozeman Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Bozeman will be up against a hot Glacier team: the squad just extended their winning streak to nine. The Wolfpack claimed a resounding 42-12 victory over Big Sky. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-6.

Asher Knopik was his usual excellent self, rushing for 189 yards and a pair of TDs while picking up 9.9 yards per carry. Those 189 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Cooper Pelc, who picked up 81 receiving yards and one score.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Glacier was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 269 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 157 rushing yards in 11 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.
Glacier's defense stepped up as well, laying out Eli Kasberg three times. Wayne Cox refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself.
Meanwhile, it's playoff time, and Bozeman had no trouble coming through when it counted. They blew past Hellgate 38-7 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Knights: they've now won six in a row.
The critical scores for Bozeman came from Logan Humphrey, Marcus Howlett, Oscar Glick, and Beau Wheeler.
Bozeman didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Humphrey and Reece Sutherland. Humphrey got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Bozeman's victory bumped their record up to 6-4. As for Glacier, their win bumped their record up to 9-0.
Friday's contest might be decided on the ground. Glacier has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 227 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Bozeman struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 205.1 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's game turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Everything came up roses for Glacier against Bozeman in their previous meeting back in September, as the team secured a 62-21 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was the Hawks' Shockley, who rushed for 73 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight carries, and also threw for 199 yards and one TD. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will the Wolfpack still be able to contain Shockley? There's only one way to find out.
